About COPESD COPESD serves 23 schools and approximately 8,000 students in the counties of Cheboygan, Otsego, and Presque Isle, roughly 2100 sq. miles in area. In addition COPESD collaborates with many other ISD's. COPESD 50th Anniversary For 50 years, COPESD has been working with local school districts and the Michigan Department of Education to support student achievement and leverage limited resources.
